Opportunities are available in either Okinawa, Japan or Sembach, Germany.

We are seeking talented Network Administrators to provide on-site enterprise network support our DoD client. Individuals will have expert knowledge in routing protocols, excellent documentation skills and a strong understanding of end user network processes.

Specific responsibilities include:

Configure, deploy, optimize, and maintain

switches routers, firewalls, Virtual Private Network (VPN) and other network appliances

network segregation, filtering and security on network equipment

network failover, network device management and network monitoring solutions

Provide response and support through an automated help desk system, responding to service tickets submitted to an assigned queue

Provide network status reports to management on a weekly basis

Document, manage and maintain public and private IP address space

Utilize DoDEA monitoring tools to provide status of networks

Document inter-connectivity network topology diagram/infrastructure with external agencies.

Coordinate with internal and external customers in the implementation, maintenance and resolution of network connectivity issues.

Participate in scheduled, cyclical or ad-hoc meetings with DoDEA Enterprise Infrastructure Group field engineers as appropriate.

Perform other responsibilities as assigned.


Bachelor’s degree in related technical field and 5 years of relevant professional experience

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) / Brocade Certified Network Engineer (BCNE) and one of the following certifications: A , CCNA Security, SSCP, Network

Clearance: Secret

Citizenship: US Citizen
