We are currently looking for a Contracts Manager to join the team in Oman for our newly awarded project. We are looking for a motivated contracts professional with over 15 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry with the ability to demonstrate knowledge of contracting and procurement practices and principles applied by major oil/gas companies.
Develops, implements, and enforces the compliance of company global procurement, subcontracts and project estimation policies, builds supplier rapport, negotiates with strategic suppliers, and coordinates activities to meet the needs and productivity of an operation.
Under broad direction, is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related disciplines or sub-groups within a function.
Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to senior managers or professional staff.
Participates in the development of functional strategy and is responsible for global processes and procedures.
Ensures the quality of procurement, subcontracts and project estimation deliverables meets internal and client requirements.
Skills & Experience
Minimum fifteen (15) years relevant experience in the oil/gas industry
Experience in Middle East and specifically within Oman is preferable
Previous PMC experience is preferable but not a must
Demonstrated knowledge of contracting and procurement practices and principles applied by major oil/gas companies is required
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage Contractual/Commercial activities in the best interest
Working Manager with hands-on experience in the areas of Procurement, Contracts and Project Estimation in Oil and Gas environment.
Conversant with Contracts Terms and Conditions.
B.S. or equivalent degree in Engineering or Business Administration from an accredited university
Additional management degree or professional accreditation in procurement, contracts and estimation disciplines is preferred
