Flat Repair Mechanic
Repairs and maintains tires on a variety of equipment which may include: motor vehicles such as internal combustion automobiles, buses, trucks, or tractors; or heavy equipment including cranes, power shovels, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, trench-digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, dredges, pumps, compressors and pneumatic tools. Works under general supervision. Requires specialized experience in diesel and automotive tire repair and maintenance. Executes required preventive maintenance procedures. Performs inspections required by the company or government. Promotes teamwork and actively participates in quality improvement process. Promotes safety awareness and complies with all applicable safety procedures and regulations. Proficiency is typically gained through 3 – 5 years experience.
Must be fluent in English
Must possess passport with at least 15 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages (front and back) remaining
Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity
Must have or be able to obtain a NIC-I
