Title: Cargo Processor

Responsible for ensuring that originating and in-transit general cargo is safe for flight and processes terminating general cargo. Also processes inbound and outbound Theatre Express specific cargo. This consists of:
Fix any in-transit cargo with a build-up discrepancy identified by Load Planning before it is load planned.
Ensure that all in-transit cargo destined out of the Area of Responsibility has cleared customs
Ensure all in-transit cargo has an RFID tag attached
Receive inbound air cargo and store in cargo yard for customer pick-up.
Break down palletized cargo when pieces are destined for multiple customers
Contact user to arrange pickup of mobility cargo, generate a truck manifest and file manifest
Assist Theatre Express Program Manager with the Theatre Express Cargo (Tender) program
Observe loading and unloading Theatre Express operations to ensure a safe operation
Receive inbound cargo and validate against cargo manifests
Prepare/Build air cargo pallets for aircraft as required to include palletizing and storing
Weigh and placard cargo offered for airlift
Contribute to establishing and utilize manual procedures to prevent mission stoppage
The Cargo Processors must be US citizens and hold a US Secret Security Clearance or be a member of one of the Five Eyes (FVEY) countries and have a completed National Agency Check with written Inquiries (NACI).
Experienced working on Military Operational Bases in Afghanistan
Proven experience operating under Defence Transportation Regulations for both passenger and baggage handling.
Experience & Skills:
Be knowledgeable in all cargo processing tasks and actions to include preparing, inspecting, and inventorying inbound and outbound cargo.
