We are seeking applications from experienced and enthusiastic Training Managers looking to further their management career in the Defence and learning and development industries.
This role is a permanent position based at the Royal Australian Navy’s (RAN) training facility at Randwick Barracks in support of the RAN’s Canberra Class LHD platforms. This is an opportunity to lead a dynamic team developing and delivering a range of technical and non-technical disciplines.
You will enjoy leading and developing a team who analyse, design, develop, implement and evaluate contemporary and innovative training solutions, on a client site.
You will also be challenged and stimulated by:
Coordinating and managing project implementation and execution in consultation with the Program Manager
Project managing a dynamic training development plan that incorporates competing priorities and concurrent activity
Integrating change management principles into training development activities
Relationship management with our client and associated Subject Matter Experts to ensure quality of outputs and achieve project outcomes
Developing efficient project execution in relation to training development and delivery
Assuring the quality of training deliverables
You will have demonstrated experience in developing, training and managing teams in a Defence training environment, and have a solid understanding of the Defence Training Manual (DTM) / Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL).
To be successful, you must:
hold or have the ability to obtain an Australian Government Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance
have the qualification TAE40110 (or newer) Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
An Undergraduate degree in Education or Business will be viewed favourably.
