Position Title:

Manager, Global Benefits and Retirement & Savings

Position Description/Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the development, implementation and administration of human resources programs, policies, processes and procedures designed to attract, retain and reward employees globally in alignment with overall business strategy. Under general direction, is accountable for the performance and results of a related discipline or sub-group within a function. Manages the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to team members. Participates in the development of functional strategy and may be responsible for global processes and procedures. Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 9

years of experience.

Retirement & Savings plans

·

Accountable for managing the compliance and accuracy of the qualified and non-qualified retirement & savings plans.

·

Implement new vendors/plans from end-to-end. Participating in RFP process, implementation project management including change management, follow up after installation to audit for problems internally and external to our systems and processes.

·

Proactive review of processes, systems and records to prevent and resolve errors.

·

Ongoing support of R&S plan audits

·

Resolve complex / escalated employee and claim and eligibility issues with HRIS, process and vendors

·

Track HRIS issues including chasing problems with interface files with the help of IT to determine the root problem

·

Make adjustments in SAP and ADP systems for benefit deductions.

·

Manage 2 or more direct reports.

·

Oversee Service Contract Act (SCA) employee benefits fringe on SAP and SCA retirement and savings plan

Health & Welfare plans

·

Vendor management for health & welfare vendors.

·

Global Benefits administration and renewals support.

·

Partner with HR, Legal, and Health & Safety, HRIS and IT on benefits matters.

·

Implement new vendors and programs from end-to-end participating in RFP process, implementation project management including change management, follow up after installation to audit for problems internally and external to our systems and processes.

·

Resolve complex / escalated employee and claim and eligibility issues with HRIS, process and vendors

·

Track HRIS issues including chasing problems with interface files with the help of IT to determine the root problem

·

Proactive audit of programs and related systems to ensure that administration of programs is as expected and taking steps to resolve issues that arise as a result of audit.

Supports annual open enrollment, operative planning and onboarding activities

Broad responsibilities

·

Presentations to employees in-person or holding calls, presence at employee meetings as needed

·

Reporting and special projects as they arise.

·

Support in preparation of regulatory documents including Form 5500’s, Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs), Summaries of Material Modifications (SMMs) and Summary Annual Reports (SARs)

·

Continued training on systems and technical skills associated with position.

·

Demonstrate professional ethics and compliance with regulatory requirements for Health & Welfare and Retirement & Savings Plans.

·

Experience managing/implementing complex retirement & savings plans

·

Global benefits experience desired – expatriate and local in-country renewals

·

Excellent problem solving skills

·

Accounting/Audit experience a plus

·

Strong analytical skills required

·

Strong Microsoft Office skills required: Intermediate level or better for Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to analyze data in Excel

Commitment to accuracy and timeliness in R&S transactions

·

Experience managing projects

·

Experience managing 1 or more direct reports helpful

·

Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements

·

May be asked to complete a test to determine understanding of retirement & savings principles

·

Strong written and verbal communications skills required

·

Ability to learn systems quickly such as HRIS and related programs, SAP experience a plus

·

Commitment to ethics in representing department to internal (employees) and external customers is required
