Global Asset Manager
KBRwyle US Government Services Division seeks an Asset Manager to aid implementation of global asset management planning, life cycle performance, and predictive/preventive maintenance standards for US government, military, and light commercial facilities that KBRwyle operates and maintains at multiple international locations.
Candidates must demonstrate a process-oriented understanding of industry-leading operation and maintenance practices, including planning and scheduling of predictive and preventive maintenance activities.
The successful candidate must be able to perform lifecycle cost-benefit analysis to compare and optimize current maintenance practices.
Experience performing root cause analysis and failure mode effects analysis will be seen as a significant benefit.
Focus Areas of Asset-Related Capability:
The successful candidate must demonstrate ability and understanding of operating and maintaining building envelopes (roof, siding, superstructure and foundations);
heating, ventilating & air conditioning (HVAC) systems; water and wastewater treatment systems; water distribution and wastewater collection systems; diesel power generation; electrical power distribution; electrical lighting; and incineration systems.
Candidate must have experience designing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance and corrective maintenance programs. Experience must include developing and optimizing time-based maintenance requirements that provide a basis for planning, scheduling, and executing scheduled and unscheduled (emergency or corrective) maintenance. Experience should also include implementation of proactive maintenance practices such as warranty management, system and instrument calibration, and technical literature manual management.
Focus Areas of Computerized Maintenance Management System Capability:
Job responsibilities also include assessing, selecting, and optimizing our corporate suite of asset management tools, such as IBM Maximo, to maximize asset efficiency and minimize labor costs required to meet our client’s performance expectations. Candidate must possess an understanding of how to align current standard operating procedures with optimized routines to obtain enhanced performance results.
General Capability Requirements:
This role will serve as a functional process lead, who coordinates with our site-based program managers, to ensure that maintenance practices are implementable within the unique constraints of our remote/austere sites.
Additional required skills and experience include:
Recommending and then implementing optimized maintenance practices and strategies at each contract location
Developing metrics and key performance indicators to monitor facility and equipment performance
Making decisions about selection of, and refinements within, computerized maintenance management tools and programs to obtain enhanced performance
Conducting autonomous operational assessments as to the effectiveness of individual project maintenance programs; recommend actionable changes as appropriate to address deficiencies identified; and follow-up to ensure desired outcomes are obtained
Demonstrate willingness and availability to travel to remote project sites, often for one- to three-month durations, to implement and oversee implementation of maintenance processes
Educational and Experience Requirements:
BS degree is required, preferably in a technical area such as mechanical, electrical, systems, or process engineering.
Significant experience in a commercial, industrial, or military asset management and equipment maintenance and repair program
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing predictive and preventive maintenance programs
Demonstrated experience interacting with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Maximo or equivalent to initiate, plan, schedule, execute, and complete work or job orders
Demonstrated experience using trend analysis drawn from CMMS data to optimize asset maintenance cycles to obtain improved reliability and availability with corresponding labor, material and equipment cost reductions
