Position Title: Technical Professional Leader – Electrical

Position Description

KBR is seeking a Technical Professional Leader – Electrical. Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Under broad direction, supervises and leads a group of electrical engineers who are responsible for engineering and design of electrical systems and components for heavy industrial facilities.

Responsible for the developing engineering studies, scope and design criteria, electrical equipment specifications, and the preparation of detail drawings for construction.

Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.

On some projects will serve as an Electrical Team Leader with Budget, Schedule, and Technical Responsibilities.



• Must be able to complete electrical engineering calculations and

installation drawings for electrical systems and equipment including substation and distribution circuits, starting and protective devices, motors, controls, panels and wiring.

Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 7 years related experience.

Experience in Chemicals and/or Pulp and Paper industries highly desired. Good oral and written communication skills are required.

Professional Engineering registration highly desired.

Must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of application for employment.
