Position Title: Specialist, Information Management
KBR is seeking a Specialist, Information Management. Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Under direction, applies detailed knowledge of information management and project execution to lead, promote, and organize effective management of project documentation and data using KBR information systems. Manage internal and external client, supplier and team relationships. Excellent communication skills will be required to address the contractual and project information management requirements to all internal and external stakeholders. The role includes a strong focus on information management including the definition of asset data and design basis requirement, process for submission, validation and feedback to contractors and suppliers to deliver consistent and complete information for handover to owner/operator in accordance with information management specifications.
Responsible for implementing procedures for assurance of the quality of project data, documents including the implementation and operation of rule based and automated validation techniques, reporting and progress measurement.
• Candidate should have experience of engineering information flow, processing, analysis and reporting to support data collection, quality and assurance. A good understanding of document control processes for both engineering, contractor and supplier documentation is also required.
Completion of an undergraduate degree in related technology, engineering or business field with a minimum of 2 years of experience in information management and related engineering systems and business processes.
In lieu of undergraduate degree related work experience in manufacturing, industrial or military will be considered at 2 years’ experience for year of undergraduate study.
Knowledge of CAD programs and experience with SharePoint 2013 administration highly desirable.
