The Role

Our Government Services, Integrated Support Solutions (ISS), Land Division is seeking to engage an ILS Support Officer to join a dedicated, professional team who strive to exceed client expectations.

As the ILS Support Officer you will be required to support the program ILS activities including development of ILS documentation, review of Prime Contractor deliverables and planning for transition of support.

You will support the ILS aspects of the Land 154 Counter Improvised Electronic Device (CIED) program mission and support systems.

Highly developed written communication skills are essential as you will assist the Project Manager to review, prepare and develop documentation, support plans, briefs and reports on logistics management.

You will need to be able to quickly adapt to changing tasks as they will vary as the projects progress and requirements change.

Required Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications

Minimum 5

years’ experience in an acquisition or sustainment logistics environment

Sound understanding of the ILS Support System Constituent Capabilities (SSCCs)

Experience in development of ILS documentation (ILS Plans, ILS Concepts, Integrated Logistic Support Instructions)

Exposure to and basic understanding of Australian Defence Contracting template(ASDEFCON)

Basic understanding of the Capability Life Cycle

Experience in a Defence related or technical industry

Conduct of Supportability Analysis (Level of Repairs Analysis, Spares Analysis Maintenance Evaluation)
